Thrivent gives Luther College a $10,000 grant to help with Giving Day

The Thrivent Financial Foundation has given Luther College a $10,000 grant to support Luther's "Giving Day" (#luthergives16), a one-day social media extravaganza to encourage giving back to the college.

Giving Day on March 10th will use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat to encourage alumni, parents and friends to give to the Luther College Annual Fund.

#luthergives16 includes live streaming of student performers, faculty interviews and other campus happenings.  More than 125 Luther alumni and friends have already volunteered to help encourage participation among their peers and inspire contributions to the Annual Fund.
