New Minowa Players is announcing the cast of their spring production, "The Pillowman."
The play follows a writer and his brother held in prison as "persons of interest" in unsolved murder cases. The author, Katurian, will be played by Alex Rosenow. The older brother Michal, will be played by Steven Holkesvik.
Two brutal detectives interrogate the prisoners: Tupolski, played by Sarah Brandt and Ariel, played by Rob Carbonell. Also in the cast are Rick Scheffert as Mr. Katurian, Karen Esterl as Mrs. Katurian, Nils Holkesvik as young Michal, Shai Shay as Girl, Katharine Bergman as Mother, Dennis Pottratz as Father, Joeann Tesar as Foster Mother, David Mendez as Foster Father, and Dan Heitman as Blind Man
"The Pillowman" will be performed at the New Minowa Players Theatre at 906 South Mill Street in Decorah Thursday, April 7th, through Sunday, April 10th.
