Decorah FFA students advance to District competition

The Decorah FFA will be sending entries in six contests and two quizzes to District competition Saturday, March 12th, at Midland High School in Wyoming, Iowa.

The FFA members who advanced to districts after receiving a gold rating at sub-Districts at Crestwood High School were:

--Ag Sales: Maggie Brandel
--Chapter Program of Activities: Kenzie Hovden, Ashley Schwartzhoff and Hannah Sikkink
--Extemporaneous Speaking: Madison McCabe
--FFA Creed Speaking: Stacia Sexton
--Job Interview: Courtney Nordheim
--Parliamentary Procedure: Tye Anderson, Dawson Bauer, Blake Courtney, Mason Falck and Hailey Nierling.
--FFA Greenhand Quiz: Braeley Ehrie received 2nd place gold
--FFA Chapter Quiz: Jaden Anderson received 2nd place gold

Students who received alternate recognition and a silver rating were:

--Ag Broadcasting: Didrik Lundtvedt
--Conduct of Meetings: Brendan Lovstuen, Maillie McCabe, Bailey Miculinich, Daniel Schwartzhoff, Julianna Wise, Devin Ludeking and Tanner Knutson.
