Five Decorah Middle School students qualify for state Math Counts competition

Ten Decorah Middle School students recently participated in a regional MATHCOUNTS competition--and five of them have qualified for the state competition April 1st.

Danielle Lundtvedt, Lillie Grouws, Shayla Betts, and Katie Storlie, Sofie Grouws, Mya Sullivan, Kaia Neal, Conner Cook, Isaac Roberts and Noah Lovelace participated in the regional competition in Mason City. 

A team consisting of Danielle Lundtvedt, Mya Sullivan, Isaac Roberts and Noah Lovelace qualified for the state team competition, while Shayla Betts qualified for individual competition April 1st at Drake University.
