Decorah HS's Bryce Hosting receives all-Academic award

Bryce Hosting celebrates with Vikings fans after receiving the Academic All-State Boys Cross Country award

Decorah cross country runner Bryce Hosting was recognized Wednesday night at Decorah High School for being one of 28 student athletes in Iowa to receive the Iowa Association of Track Coaches' all-Academic Award for the cross country season.

The award is given to seniors who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher on a 4.0 point scale and a cumulative score of 28 or higher on the ACT test.  They must also be a qualifier for the State Cross Country Meet or finish in the top 30 runners at a State Qualifying Meet.
