WMC's Andy Goodner named "Provider of the Year"

Winneshiek Medical Center has named Dr. Andy Goodner as the 2015 "Provider of the Year."

Dr. Goodner is a family medicine physician who provides full-spectrum primary care, from birth through retirement, including obstetrics and women's health, pediatrics, and the prevention and management of chronic health conditions like diabetes.

Winneshiek Medical Center Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robert Flinchbaugh says, "Dr. Goodner always puts the needs of patients first, will personally call patients who are struggling with their illness and willingly helps colleagues when they are in need… because it is the right thing to do.  Dr. Goodner demonstrates a deep dedication to Winneshiek Medical Center and our patients on a daily basis." 

Dr. Goodner received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University, and his medical degree from the University of Iowa.  He completed his residency in family medicine at Fort Collins Family Medicine in Fort Collins, Colorado.  He joined Winneshiek Medical Center in 2014.
