Decorah is now trailing Traverse City in Midwest Living contest voting

Is Traverse City built on a meteor crater? No--but Decorah is!

OK, Decorah, it's time to get back to work on winning Midwest Living magazine's "Greatest Midwest Town" on-line contest.

While Decorah last wee regained the lead in the contest, it had fallen back again late in the week.  Voting totals late Sunday showed Traverse City with 32,167 votes and Decorah with 28,810 votes.

You can vote either by clicking on Winneshiek County Tourism's banner ad or by clicking on the link at the upper middle of decorahnews.com.

You can vote once a day, meaning every person who keeps voting could add 22 votes to Decorah's total.
