Hospital has record revenue growth in December

Winneshiek Medical Center continues to perform well financially.

Chief Financial Officer Lynn Luloff says the medical center had net patient service revenues of $4,730,434 in December, with an additional $200,446 in other operating revenue.

Expenses were up slightly, but Winneshiek Medical had an operating gain of $306,465 for the month.

For the first six months of the 2016-2017 fiscal year, Winneshiek Medical Center has had a net gain of $2,121,141.  Luloff says it will get tougher to perform as well during the first six months of 2016, however, since the hospital did well financially during those months of 2015.  Still, she is pleased with the "record growth in revenue."
