The families of the late Bob Jewell and Ronnie Rustad of Decorah have donated funds to the Winneshiek Medical Center Hospice program to buy iPads for Hospice patients.

Winneshiek Medical Center Home Health and Hospice nurse manager Nancy Habericheter says, "The new iPads are available to patients and families to access resources about end-of-life, grief and caregiving.  Patients and families are also able to listen to music and watch movies in their home or care facility where internet connection is available."

Habericheter says the Hospice staff continues to find new uses for the iPads as they are used by patients
