Spillville photography has one of her photos published in a national magazine

Spillville photographer Joyce Meyer's photo of a blue heron on the Upper Iowa River is reaching a national audience.

The photograph has been published in the latest issue "Country Extra."  The photo appears in the January issue on page 33.

"Country Extra" is published by the the same Milwaukee, Wisconsin company that publishes "Country" magazine, which is aimed at telling the stories of life in rural parts of America.
