Decorah HS National Honor Society to induct 43 new members Thursday night

The Decorah High School National Honor Society will induct 43 new members during its annual ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the high school auditorium.

This year's program will include speeches by Andrew Larson, Loden Henning, Brianna Doyle, Autumn DeLong and Naomi Davidson.  The ceremony will also feature performances by several student musicians.

In order to be inducted into National Honor Society, a student must have maintained a 3.5 grade point average and have been selected by a committee of faculty members on the basis of leadership, scholarship, character, and service to others.
