Ward Budweg of Decorah receives the "Outstanding Community Volunteer Award" from the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce recognized the community work of Ward Budweg on Monday by presenting him with the Chamber's Outstanding Community Service Award.

DACC Executive Director Nikki Brevig cited Budweg's work on projects throughout the world, including in Central and South America, but said he had had the greatest impact on the Decorah area through his work with the Trout Run Trail and with the Decorah Rotary Club. 

The DACC also recognized Laurie Parrish  and Mark Lovelace as outgoing Chamber of Commerce board members.
