Walmart to close 269 stores, but Decorah supercenter unaffected

Walmart has announced plans to close 269 of its stores--but none of them are in this area.

The announcement from the company says it is taking the action after reviewing all 11,500 stores worldwide.  The closings will include all 102 of the company's smallest stores, "Walmart Expresses."

None of the stores being closed are in Iowa--except for a store in Iowa, Louisiana.
