Two vehicle accident causes $5,000 in damages

Decorah Police say an accident Wednesday morning on Vernon Street did $5,000 in damages.

Police say 21-year-old Nathan Guyer of Decorah struck a parked car after his car slid on the ice as he traveled down the hill.  Guyer contacted the owner of the vehicle and then later contacted police.
