A proposed 16-unit condominium project on East Water Street has cleared another hurdle.
The city's Planning & Zoning Commission Monday night unanimously endorsed a zoning change for property at 702 East Water Street. Decorah realtor Jayme Folkedahl wants to construct four buildings on the former Wapsie Produce property.
The zoning change would be from M2, limited industrial use, to R3, multi-family residential.
The Decorah City Council will next vote on the zoning change, with a public hearing and the first reading of the ordinance scheduled for next Monday.
