Decorah is one of 12 contestants in Midwest Living's "Greatest Midwest Town Vote"

Midwest Living magazine is looking to select the "Greatest Midwest Town."

Decorah has been chosen as the representative for the state of Iowa.  It joins towns from 11 other Midwest states in the contest, which is being run at http://www.midwestliving.com/vote/  People can vote once a day every day from now until February 29th.

As of late Monday afternoon, Decorah was 4th out of the 12 Midwest towns, with over 500 votes.  Traverse City, Michigan led the on-line voting with over 1,700 votes.
