Nordic Dancers end their can collection; have raised over $15,000

The Nordic Dancers' "Yes We Can" fundraiser is now complete.  The dancers have collected over 300,000 redeemable cans and have raised more than $15,000.

The can collection has been going on for nearly two years to help the dancers raise money for their upcoming tour of Norway in August 2016.  The dancers will visit Sarpsborg, Lillehammer, Fagerness,  Voss and other communities during their tour.  The funds raised through the can collecting will help cover the cost of five dancers going to Norway.

The can recycling at Nordic Express has now stopped because owners Dwayne and Lisa Lundtvedt have sold the business.  For information about other ways to financially support the Nordic Dancers, contact Ann and Jim Kephart or Dwayne and Lisa Lundtvedt.
