People attending the Community Meal at First Lutheran Church on Thursday night got a surprise--a gift from the Decorah Rotary Club.

Attendees received the "Warm Feet, Warm Hearts" gift, which included a pair of Fox River Mills wool socks and a dry ingredients soup mix.  Gifts were distributed while supplies lasted.

The gifts were packaged at a recent meeting of the Decorah Rotary Club.

Cub members represent a cross-section of local community business and professional leaders who volunteer their time and resources to help others in the community as well as throughout the world.  Locally, Decorah Rotary actively supports Decorah Community Schools Foundation, Trails of Winneshiek, Rotary International Group Study Exchange, Adopt-a-Highway, Winneshiek Medical Center Festival of Trees, Helping Services Holiday Lights, Magical Nights, and many other local organizations and projects.
