Winneshiek County Recycling and the City of Decorah have announced a date for the fourth annual recycling of appliance and electronics.
The one-day event will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23rd at the lower Oneota Coop parking lot at the corner of Heivly Street and River Street. City and county crews will be available to help with unloading.
The recycling is open to all area residents who purchase a sticker between now and Friday, January 22nd at Decorah City Hall. Stickers may also be bought the day of the event.
The stickers will cost $10 apiece for all appliances. Televisions and conputer monitor stickers will cost $20 apiece. Recycling computers and peripherals will be free.
