Ask Mr. Answer Person: Who is picking up used Christmas trees?

Christmas is over, alas, so decorahnews.com reader Georgie asks, "Will the City of Decorah and/or the Boy Scouts pick up Christmas trees thisyear?"

Mr. Answer Persons says: "Good news!  The City of Decorah Street Department is accepting Christmas trees at its facility on Railroad Avenue all the way through January.  You'll have to remove any tinsel or other decorations from the trees and you'll have to take to tree to the Street Department yourself, but you can recycle your tree all the way until January 31st."
