Des Moines Register names Decorah native Rob Sand one of "15 People to Watch in 2016"

Decorah native Rob Sand is getting some publicity from the Des Moines Register.

Monday's editions of the newspaper are profiling Sand as one of "15 People to Watch in 2016."  The article describes Sand's work with the prosecution of former Iowa Lottery official Eddie Tipton on fraud charges.  Tipton was convicted of illegally trying to redeem a $14.3 million lottery ticket.

The article also mentions Sand's work to develop a skateboard park in Decorah and his desire to perhaps enter politics some day.
