North Winn School Board approves the purchase of a new bus

The North Winneshiek School Board has approved the purchase of a 65-passenger 2017 Thomas bus for the 2016-2017 school year.  The new bus will cost $68,231. 

The bus is considered a capital expense.  That means the school district will pay for the bus from the one cent sales tax revenues and not the general fund. 

The bus will arrive in August of 2016.
