Results of Special Traffic Enforcement Program released

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department has released the results of its Thanksgiving week Special Traffic Enforcement Program, which ran from November 22nd through November 29th.

The stepped-up enforcement included the investigation of 10 motor vehicle accidents, two with injuries, on Winneshiek County roads.  Seat belt usage was 86 percent of vehicle occupants before the STEP and 89 percent afterwards.
