A Minneapolis woman has been ticketed for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign, following a two-vehicle accident at Day Street and East Main Street around 1:45 Sunday afternoon.

Decorah Police say 53-year-old Robin Siobhan of Minneapolis told officers she thought traffic on East Main Street also had a stop sign.  She pulled out into the side of a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Kim Bonnet of Decorah, causing a total of $8,000 in damages.  Neither driver was injured.
