Decorah Water Superintendent Todd Ihde is asking the public for help.
Ihde says baby wipes and other cloth wipes that are getting flushed down the toilet are "causing a lot of issues" for the city. While the wipes are listed as "decomposable," that's only if they are given enough time. When they're flushed down a toilet, they can clog up pumps in the city's sewer and water system.
The solution is simple, says Ihde--don't throw baby wipes down the toilet!
