Decorah elementary school students conduct a food drive

Mrs. Knight's third grade class participated in Carrie Lee's "Five for Food" Service Project.

West Side, John Cline, and Carrie Lee Schools have wrapped up food drives and other projects aimed at teaching about thankfulness and helping others. 

Carrie Lee students did a "Five for Food" drive.  They asked students to bring in coins or bills in multiples of five.  Many classrooms did related math activities, and the money was donated to local food pantries. 

John Cline and West Side students collected food and personal hygiene products for the food pantry.
