District Court Judge Margaret Lingreen has scheduled a trail for Thursday, January 21st, in a case involving a Spillville man who was allegedly threatening residents of his home with a loaded handgun on November 4th.

51-year-old Jeffery Kuennen of Spillville has been charged with two felonies and four aggravated misdemeanors.  The felonies are two counts of Interference with Official Acts.  The aggravated misdemeanors are Aggravated Domestic Assault, Aggravated Child Endangerment, Aggravated Eluding and Aggravated Carrying Weapons.

Sheriff's Deputies were called to his home because of a report of a man with a loaded handgun.  Kuennen then allegedly fled from law enforcement officers with the loaded handgun in a 1994 Ford Pickup.  He eventually pulled over for law enforcement and was taken into custody without incident.

Judge Lingreen has scheduled a pretrial conference for Tuesday, January 5th.
