Shoplifting arrest leads to methamphetamine arrest

Decorah Police on Monday arrested a Rochester woman on a shoplifting charge.

But 37-year-old Angie Marie Stapleton now has bigger problems.  Police say when they stopped Stapleton at the Decorah WalMart and allegedly found her in possession of less than $50 worth of merchandise, they also allegedly found methamphetamine.

She is now in the Winneshiek County Jail, facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Fifth Degree Theft.
