The Winneshiek Medical Center Auxiliary has kicked off its 2015 "Light for Life" program.
"Light for Life" is the Auxiliary's annual community giving campaign. For each donation of $15 or more, a lighted snowflake will be placed in the windows of Winneshiek Medical Center.
Donations may be made at Winneshiek Medical Center. Forms are also available at www.winmedical.org/auxiliary through December 31st. Contributions are tax deductible.
This year, the WMC Auxiliary's Light for Life campaign will support the purchase of a new phototherapy system for the OB department. Phototherapy is an advanced-technology light system that is used to treat high bilirubin levels in newborns, which can be harmful to babies.
