Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department's canine cop dies

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office's canine dog, K-9 Ricky, died on Saturday.  A private memorial service was held with his family and members of the law enforcement community that afternoon.

Ricky had been a member of the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department for seven years, working and living with his handler, Deputy Steve Nesvik.

The Nesvik family and the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office said afterward they would like to thank:
