Iowa grad students surveying local internet service availability

Posted: Thu, Nov 19, 2015 5:08 PM

University of Iowa graduate students in the Urban and Regional Planning department have been working on a project to assess internet service availability in Decorah and Winneshiek county.  The project is being done in conjunction with MetroNet and is aimed at painting an accurate picture of internet availability and needs in the city and county.

The group has created a countywide survey to collect information on this topic.  The survey has now been posted on-line and is available at the Decorah Public Library website, http://www.decorah.lib.ia.us/

The University of Iowa students are urging the public to take the brief survey in order to make the survey results as accurate as possible.
