A Calmar woman has been appointed the Interim Executive Director at The Spectrum Network in Decorah.
Bev Fredrick, the owner of Employment for Everyone in Calmar, has been hired by the Board of Directors of The Spectrum Network. She will help Spectrum during an interim period with billing, receivables and human resources policies and procedures. She will share her expertise while continuing to own and operate Employment for Everyone as a separate entity.
Fredrick replaces Dr. Deb Schott, who earlier this year was dismissed by the board from her Executive Director position. A spokesperson for the Spectrum Network says the agency's Board of Directors in the near future will begin conducting a search for a new executive director.
