Skyline Construction is the apparent low bidder on a nearly $2.4 million road project in Allamakee County

The Iowa Department of Transportation has received four bids on a contract to repave roadway in Allamakee County.

The apparent low bidder on the project was Skyline Construction of Decorah, whose bid of $2,387,963.39 was $7,073.10 lower than the bid of the second lowest bidder--Wicks Construction of Decorah.

The project will be done next year.
