Volunteers sought for community Thanksgiving dinner

Organizers of Decorah's community Thanksgiving dinner are looking for volunteers to assist in the preparation and serving of the meal.
 
The dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day, at noon on Thursday, November 26th, in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church.  Volunteers are needed to  peel potatoes at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25th.  On Thursday, November 26th, volunteers are needed to set-up for the meal; to assist with transportation of individuals to and from the meal; to work the delivery/carry-out line; to deliver carry-out meals; to serve during the meal; and to clean up after the meal.  If you are able to assist in any of these areas, please contact the church office at 563/382-3835.  
 
Monetary donations are also appreciated.  All funds received will offset the cost of the meal.
