Eight veterans receive Quilts of Valor in Tuesday afternoon ceremony

The local chapter of Quilts of Valor has now presented quilts to more than 70 veterans.

In an afternoon ceremony on Tuesday at VFW Post #1977 in Decorah, eight other veterans received hand-made quilts: Dale Moen, John Juve, Donald Huinker, Homer Hjerleid, Jack Christensen, Jim Bolson, Alice Abbott and Matt Andera.
