Decorah veterans presented Quilts of Valor

Six Decorah veterans were given Quilts of Valor on Tuesday morning.

The quilts are created by local volunteers, then given to people who served in the armed forces.  Nationally, Quilts of Valor has been in operation since 2003.  Locally, the Decorah chapter has been in operation since May of 2014--and has already given out 73 quilts.

Honored Tuesday were Louis Albertson, Norman Dickman, Bob Dotseth, Elwin Farwell, Al Ludeking and Duane Bruening.
