Walls are up from Habitat Blitz Build

All four walls are now up on the Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity
house in Calmar following a Blitz Build.
 
The building process will continue every Tuesday and Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Volunteers are always welcome.  Tools and supervision by Dale Olson will be provided.  The goal is to complete the house by the end of the year.    
 
In the spring, Winneshiek Habitat will begin the process again of selecting a partner family for 2016 and planning for the next location in Hesper.

Habitat remains interested in acquiring lots in towns throughout Winneshiek County. Anyone interested in donating or selling a reasonably priced lot should contact Executive Director Gus Johnson at 563 382 1802 or wchfh1@gmail.com
