Pole Line Road is reopening

The Pole Line Road construction project is in its final day.

Crews are out finishing up painting lines on the road Thursday, but the road will reopen to traffic at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. The Winneshiek County Engineer's Office expects the painting to be finished by 4:00 p.m. Thursday.

The road is an alternate route between Decorah and Cresco and also serves many northern Winneshiek County residents. Mathy Construction of Onalaska was paid $3,681,738.87 to the the major reconstruction of the road.
