Kirk Johnson will be returning to the Decorah City Council, following Tuesday night's results in the council's at-large district election.
Johnson finished with 866 votes, with challenger Jim Mc Intosh getting 411 votes, meaning Johnson received 67 percent of the votes.
Dan Bellrichard was elected in the 2nd Ward; Andy Carlson in the 3rd Ward; and Steve Luse won a write-in campaign in the 4th Ward.
Johnson will take his seat on the City Council in December, since Tade Kerndt had been appointed to fill out the term. Bellrichard, Carlson and Luse will take their oaths of office in January.
