Decorah resident Danielle Christopher has received a scholarship from Norby Distributing Company to support her agriculture studies at the NICC Calmar campus.
Christopher is a Decorah High School graduate who is a student in the John Deere TECH program this fall at the NICC Calmar campus. She plans to work at the John Deere dealership in Decorah after completing her NICC program. She is a strong supporter of John Deere products and service and wants to begin a lifelong career with the company.
Norby Distributing Company, which operates six Norby's Farm Fleet stores within the NICC district, is awarding four $500 scholarships to NICC students each year.
Norby Distributing Company co-owner Paula Norby joined the NICC Foundation board in June of 2012. Many of the 115 employees at Norby Distributing Company are NICC graduates.
