KWWL-TV reported Monday that one person was killed and five people were injured in a collision on Highway 218 in Buchanan County.  decorahnews.com reader Kevin e-mailed: "Was this bus from Decorah? It looks to be a Northeast Iowa Community Action EARL bus."

Mr. Answer Person says, "EARL Public Transit is operated by Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC).  While it's true NEICAC has offices in Decorah, its public transit service (EARL) serves Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek counties.  In the case of Monday's accident, the EARL bus was operating from Fayette County.
