Action is delayed on bids for new swimming pool water slide

Members of the Decorah Park-Rec Board have decided to delay action on bids for a new water slide at the Decorah swimming pool.

Board members met Thursday night, but decided to hold a special board meeting in a week or two, meeting with the engineering consultant for the project.

Park-Rec Director Andy Nimrod says the goal is now to take a recommendation to the Decorah City Council at the council's November 2nd meeting.
