Winneshiek Driftless Safari to wrap up at Halloween

The 2015 Driftless Safari program in Winneshiek County will come to an official close on October 31st.

All participants who have visited 15 or more Safari sites are encouraged to present their guidebooks at any Winneshiek County library to be entered in a raffle drawing for one of three $25 Chamber Dollars certificates.  Entries must be submitted by Saturday, November 7th.

With the close of the Safari program, all rubbing posts will be removed for the winter.

Says Winneshiek Driftless Safari coordinator Lilly Jensen, "the many sites highlighted through Safari are still open for exploration and we encourage everyone to continue their adventures of our beautiful county all year round."
