Decorah insurance agency receives honor

Decorah-based A & J Petersburg Agency has been invited for another year to participate in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America's "Best Practices" study group.

More than 1,100 independent agencies throughout the U.S. were nominated to take part in the annual study, but only 217 agencies qualified for the honor.

A&J Petersburg Agency president Brian Petersburg said, "Becoming a Best Practices Agency is held in the highest regard by our industry.  To be one of only four agencies (selected) in the state of Iowa is a tribute to the people in our organization."
