South Winneshiek FFA students do well at judging contests

South Winneshiek students at the National Barrow Show

South Winneshiek FFA members have done well at the State Dairy Judging Contest and at the National Barrow Show.

The dairy judging team composed of Ashley Baumler, Josie Buddenberg, Shaylee Brincks and Jessica Schmitt placed 4th overall.  Jessica Schmitt was the top overall in the "Oral Reasons" category.

Two teams of South Winneshiek FFA Members and two individuals attended the National Barrow Show.  South Winneshiek FFA team #1 consisting of Kelsey Hageman, Skyler Luzum, Ryan Bullerman and Conner Hemesath placed 8th overall in the nation.  Individually Kelsey Hageman placed 31st, Conner Hemesath placed 40th, Skyler Luzum placed 51st and Ryan Bullerman placed 94th.  South Winneshiek FFA team #2, consisting of Olivia Massman, Ayden Broszeit and Lee Kipp placed 62nd overall.  Individually Sydney Kuenne and Ashley Baumler also participated in this event.
