Bestselling children's author Katherine Hannigan, the Decorah Public Library and Dragonfly Books are teaming up to host the class "Drawing with Children." On october 13th and 20th Hannigan will teach adults a simple, no-fail system of drawing to help kids learn and retain concepts.
Drawing is tons of fun, but it's also a powerful tool for helping kids learn and retain concepts. In this class, Katherine Hannigan will teach adults a simple, no-fail, 5-element system of drawing. Class participants will draw well, easily, painlessly and with pleasure.
The class will meet from 6:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13th and 20th at Decorah Public Library. The class costs $25.00 and includes all necessary supplies and a copy of Mona Brookes' "Drawing with Children: A Creative Method for Adult Beginners, Too" (a $18.95 value).
To register for the class, call the Decorah Public Library at 563-382-3717. Registration is open through Friday, October 9th. If there are fewer than ten participants, then the class will be cancelled. Class participation is limited to 20 people on a first-come basis, all other registrants will be added to a waiting list.
