Series of programs will discuss major religious faiths

The Decorah Congregational UCC church has announced it is offering a series of monthly programs called "Know Your Neighbor" as a way to help people learn more about the various faith traditions practiced by people in the Decorah area.

September's program will run from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the church.  Luther College religion professor Todd Green will speak about "Studying Islam."  

The series of monthly programs will cover four major faith traditions, spending two months on each.  For each tradition, the first month the program will be held at the UCC Church and the second month the program will involve a visit to a place of worship.
