Organizational issues dominate Decorah School Board meeting

Organizational issues dominated the Monday night Decorah Community School Board meeting. These included:

• Ron Fadness and John Hjelle were sworn in as re-elected board members. Krista Vanden Brink was sworn in as a newly elected board member.
• Ron Fadness was re-elected as board president; John Hjelle was elected as vice-president to replace outgoing board member Melanie Tietz.
• Keri Bodensteiner and Holly Kanengeiter were appointed to the Shareholders group.
• Meeting dates will continue to be held at 6:00 on the second Monday of each month, unless otherwise noted.
