Long wait expected before possible ruling of cause of death of Dorchester man

The State Medical Examiner's Office will be asked to rule on the cause of death of 35-year-old Jason Neuman of Dorchester.  Just don't expect a quick ruling--and maybe not even a conclusive one.

Neuman's body was found under the Twin Bridges in Decorah one week ago Sunday.  Decorah Police say they saw no signs of foul play, but the Medical Examiner's Office will make a ruling.  However, it might be the end of October before a ruling is made--and there's no guarantee the ruling won't be that the cause of death is "undetermined."
