Winneshiek County Public Health is conducting its Community Health Needs Assessment and encourages everyone to participate by completing a survey.
The survey can be found online at www.winneshiekhealth.org/survey. Every five years public health agencies complete an assessment to help determine health priorities and needs of county residents. This information is then used to develop a plan for addressing those identified issues. The data collected from the Community Health Needs Assessment is used by many organizations within Winneshiek County, such as Winneshiek County Public Health, Helping Services for Northeast Iowa and Winneshiek Medical Center to secure grant funding for various programs.
Winneshiek County Public Health Administrator Krista Vanden Brink is asking everyone for their assistance and participation in completing the survey.
For those without access to a computer, paper copies will be available at various locations. The survey is open through September 30th.
